Selah is a daily prayer app. We designed it so that your prayer life stays private — on your device.
Nothing. Selah does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Everything you do in Selah — your prayer history, streaks, journal entries, intentions, saved verses, and settings — is stored only on your device (and in your personal iCloud device backup, if you have backups enabled). We have no access to any of it.
Selah's Bible tab fetches Scripture text (World English Bible) from bible-api.com, a public Scripture service. These requests contain only the requested book and chapter — never your identity, location, or any personal information. Fetched chapters are cached on your device so they can be read offline.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Prayer reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.
Selah does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
